Boeing has been awarded an Air Force contract to support the GPS satellite system.
Under the five-year agreement, Boeing will support GPS IIA and IIF satellites currently in orbit, according to a company news release.

"The agreement continues Boeing's strong legacy of GPS innovation and mission support," said Dan Hart, vice president of Boeing's Government Satellite Systems division. "We are focused on delivering reliable, affordable and resilient GPS capability now and for generations to come."
In March 2016, Boeing delivered its 50th GPS satellite to the Air Force.
