PITTSBURGH — A Pittsburgh man who helped a defense contractor in a $6 million scheme to overcharge the U.S. Defense Department for Humvee window kits faces a federal judge for sentencing.

Fifty-two-year-old Harry Kramer pleaded guilty in May to charges of major fraud against the government and income tax evasion for filing returns that didn’t include the illegal income paid to Ibis Tek LLC and its former co-owners, brothers Thomas and John Buckner.

Kramer is the former chief financial officer of Ibis Tek LLC.

Thomas and John were sentenced to two-and-a-half years and two years, respectively, in federal prison last week by the same judge who will sentence Kramer on Tuesday.

The Buckners founded the Butler-based business and each owned half of it when the crimes occurred.

The company was sold in February to new investors who had nothing to do with the scheme.
