What Makes a Tech Disruptor?
Selection for the 2026 list required demonstrated impact across one or more of the following criteria:
- Breakthrough development: Conception and deployment of technologies that redefine what’s operationally possible
- Mission impact: Measurable improvements to readiness, lethality, survivability or decision advantage
- Acquisition acceleration: Proven ability to compress timelines and cut through legacy procurement barriers

- Process disruption: Challenging how the defense industry has traditionally built, bought and delivered
