British Defence Secretary Michael Fallon is to remain in post as part of the reshuffle of government leadership following Theresa May's takeover of the prime minister position from from David Cameron on Wednesday.

Fallon has been defense secretary since 2014 when he was promoted to the top post in the Ministry of Defence having moved over from a junior position at the business department.

Analysts here expect a shakeup among junior defense ministers to be announced in the next few days.

Specifically, a move up for the highly regarded defense procurement minister, Philip Dunne, is possible, said one of the analysts.
