WASHINGTON — Defense lobbying. Sequestration. Bowe Bergdahl's release. The war in Afghanistan, and the US's role in the conflict in Ukraine. Those were among the topics CongressWatch addressed Friday during a Twitter chat hosted by Weber Shandwick's defense group.

One questioner asked just what defense firms can do to make their cases in Washington. Here was CongressWatch editor John T. Bennett's response:

"Evidence suggests, on Capitol Hill, def companies are making their cases. Proposed weapon cuts largely blocked in FY15 bills."

Here's the entire Q&A in Storify form, courtesy Weber Shandwick, in case you missed it.
