Small-biz NETCENTS-2 contracts awarded

The Air Force has awarded the small-busiiness portion of a massive contract, worth up to $5.8 billion, to 12 companies for the Network-Centric Solutions-2 (NETCENTS-2) contract vehicle.

The seven-year, indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity (ID/IQ) contract includes a three-year base period and four one-year options. The winners are Centech Group, Falls Church, Va.; Epsilon Systems Solutions, San Diego, Calif.; Smartronix Inc., Hollywood, Md.; SMS Data Products Group, McLean, Va.; Indus Corp., Vienna, Va.; Technica Corp., Sterling, Va.; Telos Corp., Ashburn, Va.; Sumaria Systems, Danvers, Mass.; BTAS Inc., Beavercreek, Ohio; American Systems Corp., Chantilly, Va.; STG, Inc. Reston, Va.; and MicroTechnologies LLC, Vienna, Va.

NETCENTS-2 is the mandatory source for all Air Force network contracts, and is also available to the other branches. NETCENTS-2 supports network operations, core enterprise services and infrastructure development and operations, network management and defense, services-oriented architecture infrastructure, enterprise-level security, management, implementation and operations, and telephony infrastructure and services.
