SAIC has won a $50 million prime contract for anti-submarine warfare sensors.
The five-year, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract, with Naval Air Systems Command, calls for SAIC to develop advanced sensors. According to SAIC, most of the sensors will be air-deployed, but some could be designated as ground, surface or undersea-deployable when the mission calls for it.
SAIC will support the Acoustic Systems Division and the Electro-Optics and Special Mission Systems Division.
