Army awards IDIQ to six companies

The U.S. Army has selected six companies for a $461 million IT support contract.

The five-year, indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract, awarded by the Army's Program Executive Office Enterprise Information Systems, is for "the full range of program management support in the functional areas of project/product management; business process reengineering; information systems security; contingency planning; and physical security," according to the Department of Defense announcement.

The winning companies, who will bid against each other for task orders, are ASI Government, Inc., Arlington, Va.; Engility Corporation, Alexandria, Va.; Logistics Management Institute, McLean, Va.; Sysorex Government Services, Inc., Herndon, Va.; Suntiva LLC, Falls Church, Va.; and Zantech IT Services, Inc., Tysons Corner, Va.
