Lockheed Martin wins contract for South Korea

Lockheed Martin has won a $9 million contract to support South Korea's Peace Krypton reconnaissance aircraft system.

The contract, awarded by the U.S. Air Force Life Cycle Management Center, call for Lockheed to provide maintenance and support for aircraft as well as fixed and mobile ground stations. The company will also provide software development and upgrades.

The Peace Krypton program consists of Hawker 800XP business jets modified by Raytheon to perform reconnaissance missions for the South Korean military.
