The Defense Information Systems Agency ranked 184 out of 300 component agencies included in the 2013 Best Places to Work survey released last month.
The annual survey is released by the the Partnership for Public Service and includes rankings for 71 department or agencies and their subcomponents. Survey scores are based on the annual Federal Employee Viewpoint Survey conducted by the Office of Personnel Management.
Training and development and effective senior leadership were among DISA’s highest scoring areas. But the agency’s overall score dropped from 64.1 in 2012 to 56.5.
Of the 19 large agencies included in the survey, the Office of the Secretary of Defense, Joint Staff, defense agencies, and DoD Field Activities ranked 15.
