The global airborne ISR market will reach $19.3 billion in 2013, according to a study by ASDReports.

“Although related programs must contend with the reality of defense spending cuts in the West, there is also significant activity in airborne ISR in other parts of the world,” the report says. “Substantial spending is expected in airborne ISR systems in the future.”

The report covers four airborne ISR sub-markets: maritime patrol, airborne ground surveillance, airborne early warning and signals intelligence. It also includes 20 major nations in the ISR market, including the U.S., the U.K., Israel, Turkey, Japan and Saudi Arabia.
