We’re looking for an editor to run our print-and-online magazine that covers the world of military training and simulation technologies.
(And we’re wishing the best of luck to current editor Kristin Quinn, who’s heading off to work for the National Geointelligence Foundation.)
The Training & Simulation Editor writes and reports for a daily blog; edits a biweekly e-newsletter (TSJ Report), coordinates a monthly feature in Defense News and manages a biannual print magazine (Training & Simulation Journal), within a prize-winning news organization that covers defense like a blanket. He or she will set editorial vision, report and write stories, direct and edit freelancers, manage a budget, and work with production staff. Some travel is involved.
Requirements: B.A. in journalism or equivalent, at least two years of business, military or technology journalism experience, and a drive to be the best at what you do. Send resume, clips and a letter to: DNTSJE@gannettgov.com.
